Levapatel Community

A section of the larger Patel community that settled in Saurashtra region of Gujarat, we trace our origins to present-day Pakistan. Centuries ago, we migrated to present-day Gujarat. Significant numbers of our community members are also found in Maharashtra. We speak Gujarati and Marathi. Traditionally farmers, we have made considerable progress in studies and education.
